We collected 22,113 Google reviews for the 139 dental clinics in our KK directory and ran ten checks on the 47 with enough history to judge. 3 are Recommended and 28 are Solid.
What this is, and what it isn't. This guide rates how trustworthy each clinic's online reputation is, not the quality of treatment. It finds the most trustworthy reputations, not the best dentist. Ratings come from Google reviews and public registers checked on 11 Oct 2026. We have not visited these clinics or checked treatment quality ourselves.

Who is the best dentist in Kota Kinabalu?
We can't tell you who does the best treatment, and nobody can from online reviews alone. What we can tell you is whose reputation holds up: 3 of the 47 clinics we checked passed all ten of our review checks and are rated Recommended. 28 more are rated Solid.
How did you check the clinics?
We collected 22,113 Google reviews for the 139 dental clinics in our KK directory and ran ten checks on every clinic with enough history: at least 24 months on google, 50 reviews, and 10 reviews in the last 12 months. The full method is on our How we check page.
Can a clinic pay to be rated higher?
No. No clinic can pay for a tier. SabahGuide is run by Bingo Digital, a web design and marketing agency in Kota Kinabalu; clinics that are Bingo clients are marked on their card and were checked by the same rules.
