About SabahGuide

What is SabahGuide?

SabahGuide is a free, comprehensive reference site about Sabah. Think of it as Sabah's digital handbook — everything a local or visitor needs to know, organized in one place.

It's not a blog. There are no opinion pieces, no listicles with 57 slides, no "10 reasons to visit Sabah" posts. Instead, every page is designed to be genuinely useful — the kind of thing you'd bookmark, share on WhatsApp, or Google for when you need an actual answer.

Why this exists

If you've ever tried to find a specific phone number for a government office in Sabah, or looked up which tamu market runs on which day, or wanted a simple answer to "how do I get from KK to Semporna?" — you know the information is scattered across dozens of outdated websites, forum posts from 2014, and Facebook groups.

SabahGuide puts it all in one place, keeps it updated, and makes it easy to find.

How we keep it accurate

Every page shows a "Last updated" date. If something changes — a phone number, an address, opening hours — you can report it directly on the page. We review reports weekly and update the content.

This community-powered accuracy system means the site gets better over time, not worse.

Built by

SabahGuide is built and maintained by Bingo Web Design, a digital agency based in Kota Kinabalu. We built this because we love Sabah and thought it deserved a better reference site.
